If you have the time and knowledge, you can create just about any layout with OSC. To make a template, you could use STS or BTS.

I think that would be a very easy site to make with oscommerce. Use the contribution ul_categories for the categories menu and change the CSS to display it as a horizontal menu. Remove the left and right columns.

 

There is also a contribution, search in header, but there are also many search boxes all over the internet. Simply look at the site and view page source to see what code was used for the search box.

 

Putting the cart in the header is also very easy. I have done something similar on my site http://www.collines.co.uk .
