question (request) Manufacturers/Category

Hy,when I choose a manufacturer, I want that in categories and in page to see just what I have under that manufacturer. To not see other products, only if I change the manufacturer.

Now, by default I can use the manufacturer to choose just that products, but if I select from categories, it shows me all products in that category, regardless of manufacturer.

If will be necessary, i will post a print-screen with graphic explanation.

ALTERNATIVE:

 

If I could have a box (that replaces Manufacturers), where to have a combobox with top-most categories. Then, in Categories box to have a list with everything is under selected top-most category.

In this case I could get rid of Manufacturers and use just Categories.

-Sub2
	-sub2a
	-sub2b
-Sub3

TopMost2
-Sub1
-Sub2
	-sub2a
	-sub2b
-Sub3
...

-from CombBox to select TopMost
then Sub1, Sub2, sub1a and so on, to be listed in the usual way, how the categories are listed.

 

Can this be done ? (or my first post in this topic?) And if, how?

ALTERNATIVE 2:

 

I just discovered Display Top Categories mod. It could be helpful for me IF i could have an other "category" box for displaying the tree of categories of level 2 and more of SELECTED top category in first box.

 

 

So, for now there are three possible solutions for this problem. I just hope somebody will help me with this.
