Vestax159
Where can I find the variable used in the shopping cart for a products price? So I can do something like $products_price - 5.00 and have it give a 5 dollar discount for the item.
Guest
Robbie, Making the changes as you suggested would reduce ALL of the prices by 5.00. Although this may be something to attract new customers, in time you would have to change the code again to remove that feature. In the past, I have used a Discount Coupon Code contribution to give a discount. I have even set it up so the welcome email has the code in it so they would be enticed to return to the site to place an order with the discount. Vestax159
Yah I know it would change the price for all items. Looking to do it for discounts based on who the customer is and quantity discounts just can't find it.
Guest
Robbie, How about this: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/689 Allows you to permanently assign a discount according to who the customer is from the Admin section Chris
