derrickpag
I have used and installed the os template ecom26669. I have created the site and all was well. But a problem has occured that is quite odd. The index.php has lost the background and other background imgages, rounded corners. The data is fine, (Categories). I have uploaded all the images. Can I reinstall without deleating all the data.
Guest
Derrick, You can upload your files again without changing or losing the database, however any modifications made to the files since they were originally installed will be lost and need to be re-installed before the site will fully function. derrickpag
Would I use the catalog/install/index.php?
Guest
Derrick, it would be the catalog>index.php file you want to replace. Although, some of those design changes may be in the stylesheet.css but you can try the index.php file first. Chris
multimixer
No, you do NOT run the install again, because then you loose your database. You need to upload the file [catalog]/index.php (and whatever else you messed up, but just the files My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

multimixer
Your stylesheet looks strange..... There are queries inside? It looks like you copied part of index.php into the styleshhet. Place the original stylesheet back and make sure all background images are in (correct) place My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
Collines
Take a look at your hard drive copy of the template and see what files are included in there. You will need to reinstall from your store backup (you did make one?) just the files that the template replaced. It is often more than just index.php.
