I wanting to place my company logo in the tab of fire fox/explorer...instead of the the document symbol, anyone any ideas pls :-)

ive copied the <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >

<link rel="icon" type="image/gif" href="animated_favicon1.gif" >

 

into my index php inbetween html tags and copied the gif n fav.ico file in catalog and route directory jus to be on safe side, but still no results, is there any other way you no of please :-)

The correct filename is 'favicon.ico' and it goes in your domain root directory. that is all I have ever done.

Brilliant, the code to add to html was in the read me file, ive deleted that no and it works a treat in firefox, dosent work in ie, but im not that fussed about that so all good, nice 1 for the help :-)

IE is a beast. Sometimes it takes bookmarking the site before it starts to show. Other times just repeated use of the site will start to make it show.
