Setting the Whats New Product on main column

I need to know, How to set the " Whats new " Box at main column with big image size, and better template out look, above the New Products Box.

I have done all of the requirements, and have created a box above to that, What i am confuse and hanged on is that, I need to show data of Whats New Box on to main. Now I need to show image larger and fonts in different style, like in other shopping carts we see Hot Products, like this.
