Hi

This is something I have looked for in the forum but have not been able to find. I am using a template and want to create a page that is hidden. I want to be able to hyperlink to the page from my homepage, but I don't want the page to displayed, for example of the info box on the left column. Is it simply to create a page, deactive it and place the hyperlink to the page or would that not show the page as it is not activited?

Thank you,

Andrew

What do you mean with "activating" a page or with "hiding" it?

In the moment a page has a content and is uploaded to the server, it is "active"

The question where to put a link to it is a different one. The link will not appear in any infobox, unless you place it there. Or you can make a link to it anywhere you like, header, footer, left, right, in the middle, you can make a text link, or image link, it's all up to you.

If you don't make any link, then yes, the page will be "hidden", whats the purpose of dong it then?

Ok I probably didn't explain it correctly. If you go to www.childrenseducationaltoys.co.uk. I want to link the text which says "Register to our newsletter for your chance to win". I know how to write the line of code to action this, but the link needs a page to go to. With the template I am using, I can create a page within admin but it automatically saves the file into the information box on the left column. I can think of only two ways around this: 1. create a page in admin, deactive it so it doesn't appear in the info box and try linking the text to that file. Or 2. Create a .php file, save it to my server, then hyperlink the text to that file. I am wondering which would be best or even if there is a simplier way.

Thank you
