mikeymic Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 There are 2 main issues I'm having beyond the point that it's not ez to use: ITEM 1 In the “Products Attributes” page in the admin section it is nearly impossible to add things in the correct order. In other words if you look at the link: http://ncfurnituresource.com/furniture-store/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=38 you will notice that the drop down menus say “Click to Add” and then when you pull them down they say “Yes (+349) … most of the time when you add them in the drop down items come up in the wrong order. What I’d like to do is to be able to have a way to order them…in other words I should be able to add “Click to Add”, then “Add 1 Chair (+79)” then “Add 2 Chairs (+178)” and so on. This could be done with an ordering box or if you have a simpler way to do this I’d love to hear it. Right now it’s completely un-manageable. Any suggestions would be helpful. ITEM 2 In the products Attributes page of the admin panel: the actual attributes appear alphabetically and overflow onto more pages as needed. How hard would it be to change this so that it’s a scroll bar without more pages? I’ve used this software before and it becomes unmanageable when you have 40+ pages because you can never find the attributes. Or could I divide the pages alphabetically so that if we’re looking to change the attribute for the “Stetson Sofa” that we can go to the S page instead of trying to guess if it’s on page 24, 25, etc. Again, I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance!!
satish Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 for Item1 you need to modify the product attribute query which is present on product_info.php For item2 you will need to add a dummy product and assign attributes to this dummy product. Now tweak your code so that attribute from dummy product are added to the list of attribute of that product.
