tallberg Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 Hi, I’m following the os documentation for installing the paypal payment mod which lead me on to the paypal payments standard guide. I managed to generate the public a private key with openssl. I’m still confused about how to install them on the server. I’ve read that openssl needs to installed on the server? I don’t understand, it looks like i need to buy a cert or install ssl with my host. I thought openssl means I don’t have to pay for a cert? tallberg Posted April 2, 2010 Author Share Posted April 2, 2010 sorry to be a pain. I think the problem is im only now starting to understand what ssl is but perhaps not compeletley. Ive installed the open ssl successfully. Ive Enable Encrypted Web Payments and orders process without error. Does this mean I should change the enable ssl to true and I will have a https site? Also ive put the y-prvkey.pem my-pubcert.pem paypal_cert.pem in the admin folder is this secure? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
