mandata1 Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Hello all I am new to this so please be patient. I have searched and haven't found an answer to this question. I have been trying to set up my shipping rates. I am trying to use the table rate by weight. I can't get it to show any setting below '5:8.50' I am trying to use pounds. I have a large number of weights that I am trying to use. It also seems to have a maximum weight that it will accept built in. This is playing havoc with my Google Checkout and PayPal. They both work but don't show the shipping charges. Is there a guide someplace that I haven't found or can someone help me correct this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 Dave, In the admin>configuration>shipping/packaging you will see the maximum weight ship limit, the tare weight and some other related settings. Change those settings to suit your needs. The Tare weight is more than likely the factor to why you can't show weights below 5 ( the default tare weight is 3) Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was wondering if you suggest an answer to another question or do I need to re-post. When I tried checking out thru Google, it shows my shipping rate but also shows rates from the other shipping companies ( UPS, FedEx etc..) that I don't offer. Its in the googlecheckout/library/shipping/carrier_calculated_methods.php file. I found I could 'carefully' eliminate the unwanted services. I did find another problem. Google Checkout calculates fixed rate shipping correctly but doesn't work on table rates by weight. It shows the title in the drop down but shows it at 0.00.
