ncrossland
Hi I'm evaluating osCommerce to see if it meets my needs. It looks very good, but I have one question - is it possible for the same catalogue / customer data to be used on several sites? i.e. one admin section to add products, administer customers, etc - but 3 different catalogues e.g. shop1name.co.uk, shop2name.co.uk, shop3name.co.uk. They would all be physically located on the same server, basically showing a different skin depending which domain it is called from. Is this possible out of the box, or without too much adaptation (I'm OK with PHP). Many thanks, ~nick~
Guest
Yeah, you can access the same database from different domains ... just that you mention the same database parameters in both the configure.php files in /catalog/includes/ and /admin/includes/ folders. Cheers! Sunny.
