Ultimate Seo Urls question please

Hello forum members,

 

I have installed the Ultimate Seo urls contribution successfully.

Then I go to admin>configuration>Use search-engine safe urls and make it 'true'

But when I come back, it is automatically configured to 'false'

 

Does it mean that the contribution was not installed successfully?

 

Could you guys instruct me please?

On my Oscommerce Admin the Use Search Engine Safe URLS has always been at false. In fact there is a message saying "still in development". I had Ultimate SEO installed, but there should be a SEO URL section under Configurations which controls your contribution. As far as I am aware, the Use Search Engine Safe URLs have nothing to do with the Ultimate SEO contribution, Unless anybody else knows any different?

I believe that the contribution was installed successfully and working properly according to the urls in the address bar.

If 'Use search-engine safe urls' in the admin has nothing to do with my concern, I'm happy!! :rolleyes:

 

If anyone else has an advise, please post it for me

The search engine safe option is an option from the stock oscommerce code, not Ultimate SEO. It doesn't work well and should never be used. Knowing that, if the code in Ultimate SEO finds it is set, it will reset it.
