Sloane
Hi All i recently made the changes recommended in the forums to secure my site. I removed the file_manager.php, deleted it from the tools.php file and have renamed my admin section. Since doing this the formatting for the admin section has disappeared. I am not sure whether this is a coincidence or not. Would anyone be able to offer advice as to how to fix this issue? http://www.elevenmagnum.com.au/store/office/ Thanks kindly Sloane
MrPhil
It looks like it can't find the .css file. Check that /store/office/includes still exists, and has the files such as stylesheet.css. If the public side (/store) still works, it doesn't sound like a PHP include_path setting. Double check all your "configure.php" files to make sure none of them are still pointing to "admin". P.S. You probably will want to change your admin directory from "office" to something else, now that you've made it public.
Sloane
Thanks so much . I have checked all your suggestions and it looks okay. I did back up prior to security changes so I reinstall this if I can't find anymore errors. Thanks again
Sloane
I reinstalled the files I had changed to follow the path back but it is still not working. I am not sure what to do now?
germ
I reinstalled the files I had changed to follow the path back but it is still not working. I am not sure what to do now? Firefox tells me: You don't have permission to access /store/YOUR_ADMIN_FOLDER_NAME/includes/stylesheet.csson this server. The permissions on the stylesheet should be 644 The permissions on the includes FOLDER should be 755 And if there is a .htaccess file in the includes folder rename it to something else. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Sloane
Thanks, I checked all that and added the stylesheet back to includes but it is still no good. I have renamed to admin whilst I am fixing it.
germ
I stand by what I said. It can't be anything else. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Sloane
Thanks Jim You were absolutely correct and I had missed one of the permissions. Thanks, it is great to have support and advice such as yours when you are a complete novice. Cheers Sloane
