Recommended Posts

I have created a ecommerce website using OSCOMMERCE version 2.2. However, when I try to add a product into the shopping cart, the product does not appear in the shopping cart, and when when you go into the shopping cart it says that the cart is empty.

Can someone help?

The site name is shalemonline.com. It is hosted by 1and1.

Thanks

Where did you get the template? The author of the template is the best source of help. Is there a support thread for the template here?

Did you install the URL SEO add on yourself or did it come with the template? Has it EVER worked? Maybe before an add on?

That's a template***ster.com template.

There is NO support to speak of. If you just purchased it and paid by credit card or paypal. File a dispute for a refund. I recently helped a client out of a similar situation and they gave a partial refund which helped offset the cost me correcting the problem.

Go into the shop admin and under:

Configuration >> My Store

and set

Use Search-Engine Safe URL's (In development) to "false"

Then try your shop again and see if the add to cart functions are working correctly.

Thank you so much. That did the trick. So, can you explain what the issue was?
