First Data Merchant Services

I am new to this, I have a new web site and I am trying to set up my merchant account. My tech support said I need to download a module and install it. I have a new merchant account with first data and I have the PEM file but I am not sure where I am supposed to put it. This is what my tech support told me:

First Data merchant services is not a module that is already integrated into your site. If you wish to use First Data merchant services, you will first need to have that add-on module installed on your site. Unfortunately, we do not offer this kind of support. We do recommend that you visit the OsCommerce Community Support Forums for more information and instructions on how to install this module onto your site: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums

So my question is what is the module called and where do I go to download and install it so I can get this set up. Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks!

What he is saying is the First Data does not provide a drop in module for osC, but they do supply an api written in several languages (including php) but can offer no support in getting it installed in your site. If you are not a php expert then don't even attempt it, IMHO.

If it were me (and I have been in this position before) when selecting a credit card merchant provider I would specifically look on their site for an osCommerce drop in module. If they don't have one, I move on to another company....
