cPanel Usage

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My hosting provider has allowed me use of cPanel to control my website. It has tons of graphical options, reports, stat's and data. The only problem is has so much I am not sure what is important for me to monitor, check, review and print. Does anyone else use this? Any suggestions will be helpful.

:D

Check your error logs daily, and try to keep your errors to an absolute minimum.

You'll also find hackers hitting your site looking for perl mail programs and the like.

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.

My most common are filemanager, phpmyadmin, error log, and awstats with the first two being to play with the site and the latter to monitor what has went on all day.
