jefferis
HI folks, I am setting up osCommerce for a web client, and he needs to be able to edit the pages himself. Unlike WordPress, there are no included tools for safely editing text on existing pages or adding pages, or adding images to pages. I searched the contributions, but the page editor is for MS2, my client is using 2.2rca. Also, there are no install instructions with the download, just what appears to be a replacement page for application_top, but which one? Anyway, I was hoping some experienced hands might guide me to a good editor for the non-coder with install instructions. Although I've used other CMS, this is the first osCommerce I've set up. TIA, Jeff
spooks
There are a few, but they all have some issues, I would'nt rely on having manual install instructions, there a lot of work to write & not apreciated when done, so many don't bother. Use a filecompare tool & your own skills. I cant give any advise on specific merits of each one, as I just wrote my own, but I've never released it.
