lehmbooks Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Is there any way to change the order of the check-out process? On our site right now, once a person adds something to their cart, they are immediately asked to sign-in or create an account. I would rather it take them right to the cart to view their item(s) and then be able to check-out from there or go back to shopping. Once they are finished shopping and return to their cart is when I would like them to have to sign in, but NOT until they're finished. I feel as if we're losing a lot of customers with this. I for one will not go through a website if I have to feel out information right away. Another option I would like to have is for them to see their shipping right away also, a sub-total before they process through. This way they are not wasting their time filling out information if, in the end, they do not want the product because of the shipping expense. Please let me know if there is a way to do this and if there are any installs I can use to change this process. Thanks!
