MrPhil Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 Are your site, database, and language files the same encoding, or are you using a mixture of two different character encodings? Is it your language support files, your database entries (such as product description), or both that suffer lost characters? Is it only Hungarian that has the problem, or Romanian too? If everything is, say, UTF-8, you should not lose any characters, but if you have different encodings in different places, some characters will be illegal and undisplayable in the "other" encoding.
