♥mdtaylorlrim Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Sam, I really don't know about shipping modules that much, and even less about altering the logic of the module to force it to do something it was not designed to do. As a retailer I want to offer a variety of methods that are both legal and economic, and meeting the time needs of the buyers. In order to not OVERcharge customers I use modules that produce LIVE data retrieved from the shipper. Customers do not want to pay more for shipping than it actually costs, so live quotes is the only way for me to go. If your business and customer will tolerate table rates such as those you mention then the only way I see this working for you is to take the table rate module to your local computer. Copy it three times, naming each one to correspond with the three methods you choose. Then, you may have to make some edits within each to match the variable values to the name. Upload them back into your shipping modules folder and you will be able to configure each with table rates to match your business shipping model. It's really not that hard to do. If you open up the modules you can study them for a short while and see just how easy it is. I copied the cod module and converted it over to a store pick up module in about 2 minutes. Oh, yeah....be sure and do this one at a time, perfecting the first before you start on teh second. As always a test storefront to try this on is the best approach.
