I checked this on one of the site ranking website. I have installed contributions like: ultimate seo url and easy seo header tags but they doesn't seems to be working as 80% of page that have indexed currently have same title as the home page. So can anyone please help me what to do as I do not have a much knowledge on how these search engine listing works. Its been a month now and I have not received a single order and no more than 3 registered user so far. google adsense shows that I am having an average of 150 visiters a day. ♥toyicebear
You have done something incorrectly in regards to meta tags, which you can easily see by that your page title stays the same on all products and categories pages. Also just adding some "seo" contributions is not going to get you a high listing for popular search words in the listings, seo is much more complex than that, you should google around and read up on SEO optimization and increasing your page rank/listing. And do you really expect anyone to buy electronics/computers from your webshop when you have no company info, address or phone number listed? I do have company information and address on privacy notice page. Can you please tell me if you have any idea how to sort the meta tags out? Is this happening because of using the STS template? ♥toyicebear
The STS template system changes how for instance a meta tags contribution is installed, check the read-me and the support treads for the used meta tags module and for the sts template system. To "hide" the company info in the privacy notice does you no good, it should be easily accessible to a customer who are considering buying from your site...if they do not see such info its a high probability they will just leave your site without purchasing anything. The company information is now stored on contact us page and also a new page is made called about us where company information can be found too. I used header tags controller and site map SEO which seems to be working fine. Can anyone please verify if the website is now has correct metat tags or can you please let me know the tool/website where I can check this? rudolfl
Hi, Few quick notes: 1. Your site does not pass HTML validation, e.q. there are errors on your site that browsers correct, but bots may be confused with. http://validator.w3.org/ 2. Google and other need text on your site! If you want your site to appear for words like "used laptops", this phrase has to be present in your texts on your site. How on Earth cGoogle will know you are selling used laptops if you are not saying it???? You have to base your descriptions around keywords you want to appear in Google (and others). 3. I assume you have submitted your site to search engines and I assume you have created and submitted sitemap too. Rudolf
