New page to show 10 most recent collections

Hi,

 

We need to have a new page on our site which shows in order, the 10 most recently-created collections of products. It doesn't need to paginate, doesn't need to have any particular special features, but it should dynamically update, so if there are 14 collections in total, it will show the 10 most recently-created ones. If another collection is created in the backend, then that becomes the first of the 10, and the oldest of the previous 10 disappears from the page.

 

Can this be achieved? There isn't a default page that seems to do this, and I want to creat a page which is as simple as possible.
