PayPal recently a nightmare

It's either a few of my recent customers or PayPal going nuts, can't figure it out.


I tried purchasing from my store to test it, but I received the message I can't log in and use my store account. Buggers, it allowed me to do that not long ago.


First a customer complained that they received a message from PayPal to return to merchant.

I was able to test a purchase from myself and all went smooth. Never figured out the problem, lost the customer.


Over the last few days I'm getting complaints from customers that PayPal is asking them to "add another credit card" to their PayPal account to pay for the order.


I haven't had many transactions through PayPal over the last 4 years, but things have gone smooth until the last month or so.


Is anyone having similar problems?


Could it be PayPal accually causing these issues?


Is it possible I'm dealing with a couple of problematic customers?
