Guest
I noticed that on the demo pages with this shopping cart software, the customer is required to log in. I, however, do not wish to require my customers to register to my site. Though this cart software is very appealing, I fear that I must choose something else if logging in is required. Is the customer log in feature a necessary part of the program or can I make a web site with this software without the log in requirement?
Guest
You can pretty much do whatever you want with the software. It will take a little bit of hacking is all.

Guest
Which of the contributions did you download? Its generally good practice to use contributions with more current dates. osCommerce evolves so quickly that sometimes addons that worked with previous snapshots versions will not work with the newer versions. Aside from that... go back and double and triple check the modifications that you made. Most errors that appear after installing an addon are quite often caused by an incorrct code modification. -R

kendell
is there any possible way to get rid of the password requirement while signing up with the form???
Guest
If you get rid of the password requirement... then whats to stop someone from gaining access to other peoples order info? That seems like a security concern to me. -R
Guest
Thanks for the help. I was wondering if it is possible to completely do away with the option to log in. Therefore, instead of having the option of logging in or not, to simply proceed to the order form without logging in as soon as you click the proceed to checkout. Is this possible?
