dbuvens
Hello all, I'm having serious problems with my webshop (www.canyonstore.be) The admin module shows the placeholders for several titles (ie BOX_ENTRY_SUPPORT_SITE, HEADING_TITLE, BOX_TITLE_STATISTICS, etcetera) since a few days. Also the site doesnt function anymore. EACH article gives a "product not found" error, and changing the language or currency does not work either. Furthermore a customer cannot log on anymore, or purchase anything. Nothing has been changed on my side, but I guess my domain provider has done some upgrades somewhere because the control panel and webmail of the domain have changed recently. The support of the domain provider (www.doemee.be) SUCKS big time, they provide no useful information whatsoever and you cannot reach them by phone, only by mail. Anybody any sugestions??? Thanks in advance !!!

spooks
admin->tools->server info : does not work admin->tools : gives an error. seems like your missing files, restore the site with your backup. If u made no backups (why!!!) The better hosts do keep regular backups & will restore on request without charge. Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it. (look in tips to find out how to tell) Older versions will struggle on php 5 (u have 5.1.6) How r u sure no files missing? some of your errors sound like missing files. Upgrading osC from 2.2 MS2 to 2.2 RC2a http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6654 Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it. dbuvens
Found the answer on the Dutch forum http://forums.oscommerce.nl/index.php?showtopic=12299 I have added the following in the /catalog dir : php_flag register_globals on php_flag display_errors on php_flag register_long_arrays on RewriteEngine on AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 in a file named ".htaccess". This solved the issue!
spooks
So you have an old version of osC, your issue is likely your host upgraded php, I would suspect you will have more issues arise, look at upgrading. Also RG on is a security risk & at some point in the future will not be an option. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=313323 Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it.
