multimixer
I need to know the structure of the Oscommerce for Create an Account, about us etc etc i,e where the files are what files i have got to change. Here you can see the filestructure of osCommerce --> click me Most of the things you need exist in the addon section. Thre are instructions about how to install the various addons, also a topic in "tips and tricks" that will help you. In geberla everything is possible, but it depends on your skills. It's impossible to start answering such a general question, you need to take it one by one. PS Put at least an index.html file to your domain root, you don't want that everybody see what else you have stored on your server, right? I Just tried to have a look atthe create an acoount file sadly it come up with an error :( But tbh honest i think i have wrote this all out wrong. Please let me try to write this again. I have installed this Template with out the admin file as i used the admin file from the installation of oscommerce in my C/Panel. So here as you can see is the Template i have installed on the Sub-Domain: http://buildaweb.eu/reselleverything2 What i want to do is create a membership download site but from this template. So what i am going to want to change is just a few things like the create an account to a membership fee page, add HTML pages like FAQS, TERMS create a section in the admin area and in the user to upload products and also download products etc. So what i need to know is what files i need to edit to achieve my goal here. once i know that i will be able to march on. I have very basic skills in PHP but i am a fighter and i like a challenge even if i do bang my head on my desk and hit brick walls i am willing to learn. I do know about html im no conasir at it but i get by in it. Hope this is a little clearer in what i am aiming to achieve with this template i have installed on this Sub-Domain Cheers Molie
multimixer
Molie, I understood your meaning, don't worry. Don't expect that anybody will give you straight instructions right now on how to do this all you want. Having, as you say, very basic skills in php, you need to invest some time to read and try so that you get a better understanding on how everything works. It is not recommended to mix plain html pages into osCommerce, for the reason that users will loose their session ID. Just an example, to show you that you need to reconsider your plan The good news are that most of the things you want are available in the addons section. I would start installing them one by one, and let the membership thing for the end. Then I would ask very concrete questions about how to do this or that. I also would not start with a template, since templates contain very often modified or even "bad" code, made just to fit the look but destroying the functionality. It's much more hard to add addons or even to get help on the forum having a template.
