Help with listings and shopping cart look

Hi all,

 

I have tried add on after add on to get the listing look that I am after and I can't seem to find one. Below is a picture of what I am trying to accomplish, can someone tell me if this can be done and how (height is the main focus)and also I don't need the listing to have a "more" link, just a simple picture/description/size/quanity box/price. Also I am trying to find an add on to spice up my shopping cart look, something similar in the picture below, can someone point me in that direction. One more thing that I need I found an add on but when I installed it it was all screwed up, I am looking for a delivery calendar or something that the customer can choose when they want their delivery delivered, it is for a local grocery delivery service. I am fooling around with this but just can't seem to get the look I am looking for. I can't add a quanity box. Customers can't buy when they are on the manufacturers page. I have no idea where the POA came from. I can't add a description unless it is truncated and then it has a "more" link which I don't need. I just want a product listing that is shown above, clean and simple. Can you help me out with this? I would greatly appreciate it.

looking at the page:

 

1 u havent completed the intall corectly, go over it again.

 

2 if u want a quantity box, enable it, read the doc.

 

3. the mode u want is stanard listing mode, read the doc

 

4, if u want a short description add the appropriate add-on, again reads the doc!!

 

ie if u read ther doc in full, u will find the answers!!

1.) I have 3 of everything in admin >> product listings, should I go into the database and delete the extra fields?

 

2.) I am getting an error when I add the following to the catalog/index.php, $select_column_list .= 'pd.short_desc, ';

 

3.) I still am not able to add a quanity input box.

 

4.) includes/modules new_product.php files, for your add on and the short description add on are totally different, so how do I make the changes for the add ons? Is this really needed?

1 yes, you ran the sql several times, you could run the un-install sql, then run the install again, but just once.

2. check the install, you made a error, if you don't say what error u got I can't say further

3. if you have repeats in admin, only 1st will apply, if you have errors with sql (index.php) you may not pass stock/price info, 0 stock or price = no qaunt box.

4 just use the supplied, changes not needed.
