Terko Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Hello, everyone! I have a dump question, but in any way...I need a help. So, me and ma friends decided to open an on-line shop with sport equipments, golf equipment 'cause we are crazy about golf :D But we don't want to create website by ourselves we don't know how to do this, we are ready just to buy it. So, does anybody know a really good site with COOL templates?? And also with supporting team so then we could keep in touch if there will appear some questions. So, looking forward to your suggestions! Thanks
multimixer Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The template is just for the design, for sure you'll want to add some extra functionality to your store too. And the template seller will not do this for you, so you'll be alone with this. Why not to hire a good developer to prepare your store exactly as you like it? I would google for developers My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
djviko Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Hey, well...interesting...Golf? Hmm...maybe I can help you. Yesterday I found this one site, and there were templates with sport equipments, maybe u'll find there something u're looking for. But in any way - good luck! :P
Terko Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 Thanks, guys!! We appreciate u pay attantion to our stupid problems  Thanks Multimixer for you suggestion, but don't you think that if I hire a good developer then it will cost me more?? I can't believe that sellings companies doesn't provide any support :( It's not good... Djviko, thanks for your help, I found there almost what we were looking for...but question about support is still open, what if I want to change smth. on that template or whatever it calls
multimixer Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I didn't say that they do not provide any support. Some of them, maybe many off them, or maybe the most of them do really not provide anything more than the download link. And there are some others, the good ones, who provide support, yes. But this support is related to the product they sell, the template. They will not support you in installing a contribution. So, ok, you will say that you don't need their support because there is the forum here, thats true. But also consider that it is much harder to integrate addons into templates because the code is not the standard code anymore and contributions are written for this standard code. It's also much less likely to get support on the forum, if you have a template, not because peole don't want to help but because they have no idea what the template maker did and where to start helping. So, maybe you put your self in a worse situation? Can you post a list of features that you would like your store to have? I mean regarding functionality. So maybe I can say a opinion if a template will fit you My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

I can't say anything bad about that site I offered you yesterday, as far as I find out, their supporting team really helps)))) U may try, I don't think that some of their advices or consultations will cost u smth.

multimixer Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Looks to me like a spam discussion. Both posters (maybe just one person) registered same day with 10 min difference and where replying to each other again with 10 min difference. Well, I fall into the trap taking part at the discussion, I realize just now. For future readers: There are some serious template providers out there, thats for sure. But consider: If people spams forums in order to promote their stuff, you can imagine what other type of practices they have in their so called "customer support". Would you ever buy from a spammer? djviko Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Ummm....really looks like spam)))))) I even didnt noticed. But I'm not a spammer for sure)) Don't know how about other
Terko Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Dear, multimixer! It's just your own oppinion and point of view, maybe it really seems like not real discussion, spam or whatever it calles, but it not so. It's life and everything could happen, even registering with difference in 10 min, and replyings in 10 min also...Don't be so sceptical. In any way I almost got what I wanted, and, I must confess, your posts also appeared very useful to me, thank you. And now I'm not gonna encroach in your precious time. I'm sorry for that :'(
Jan Zonjee Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Topic is now closed because three of the posters in this thread are from the same IP-address so obviously are here to spam templates. All those three users have been banned.
