ActiveTuning
I am using MS1. If I checkout, these are the things that show up: Next Day Air Early AM Next Day Air Next Day Air Saver 2nd Day Air 3 Day Select Ground How can I take some of these out if I don't want to offer all of them? Also, another question I had is unfortunately osC doesn't take into account dimensional weight, which is something UPS uses. The don't take into account dimensional weight unless I'm shipping AIR. Is there any way to make the weight higher for air shipments?
ActiveTuning
Also another question I have. osC shows something like this: United Parcel Service (1 x 11lbs) Is there any way to take out the weight on all instances?
ActiveTuning
Also, one more quick question.... I'm looking at the code.....is free shipping implemented in MS1 now? If so, how do I use it?
ActiveTuning
Also another question I have. osC shows something like this: United Parcel Service (1 x 11lbs) Is there any way to take out the weight on all instances? Figured this out....but what about the other questions??? Anybody????
Ajeh
Define your idea of Free Shipping What is the criteria for it to be Free on your site?
ActiveTuning
I think I just realized what it was.... But basically I need to make it so that if I have a product that has a weight of 0 (or somehow specify that it is free shipping), is free shipping. There is a contribution for this, but I tried it and it does not work on MS1. Any idea on the stuff from the first post in this thread? BTW, thanks Linda, you always seem to come through when nobody else responds :D Keep up the great work!
Ajeh
The Downloads Controller v5.2 has the re-written Free Shipping and Payment modules for MS1 This lets you turn them on/off in Admin and they do not require editing of existing shipping and payment modules. Be careful when you update your files, be sure you have a back up, etc. etc. etc.
ActiveTuning
Great! I'll give that a shot. What about the first post though? If anything, at least the first question....
Ajeh
Some wrote a modification for that to turn on/off shipping options ... check contributions ... and check its date when you find it. There is always a way to modify a price/weight. You just have to think it ... write it ... beg for it ... pray for it ... or pay for it ...
ActiveTuning
There was a really simple way to do it when I used an older snapshot....I just had to modify the ups.php file in modules I believe. I tried that this time around, didn't work...There's no SIMPLE way to to just like take out 2nd day air from showing up as an option when checking out? Ajeh
I am sure there is ... but until I go through the code and figure it out ... I recommend you look at the nice handy dandy contribution that was written to do this ... 8)
