zefeena
Hi, when i log onto the admin panel of my store it asks for a log on and password, how do i change these. Can these be changed from the admin interface? I previously went to my cpanel and changed them, but the version has been changed and i can't figure out where to change the log-on and passwords in that. Kinda of in a hurry - just split with the b/f and bit worried he might do something nasty to my site! Thank you Running a botched up version of osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 bootstrap with the dresscode theme installed, numerous add-ons, terrible coding, terrible website, but will have to make do until I have made up for my losses and can risk shutting down for a couple of weeks while I start all over again. - I did not install my program but am endeavouring to fix it with your help. multimixer
There are 2 types of passwords 1) osCommerce admin password: here you get the input fields on the admin screen, over it it say "administrator login". This password is set during the installation process, and you can change it under admin ->administrators 2) htaccess password: Here you get a "pop up" window that asks for a login. This is the password protection of folder "admin". Password is set via the cpanel of your host and changed there So, which one do you mean? zefeena
The new username/password option doesn't come up on mine! If you click administration on the top right it just refreshes the screen!
