xx-ellie-xx Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 Hi all, I am new to the board and fairly new to osCommerce so please be gentle ;-) I have been trying to install osCommerce v2.2 RC2a on two of my domains but am having the same problems with both. I am getting several warning messages (however it does display the page beneath the warning messages): Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s)... Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at... Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent... In addition to the above, I am also getting the following warning message when I try to access the admin login page (it won't display this page at all!): Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at... I have been searching this forum and the rest of the net for two days now and every time I think I've found an answer, it doesn't work :-( I have searched every related file for 'whitespace' and deleted it if I found any, I have also created a tmp directory in the main bit and set the permissions to 777, but none of this has worked. I have my hosting with Supanames (now 123-reg) and have even updated my php settings and left long enough for them to take effect, yet the messages are still there and I still can't access the admin part of the shop. I'm sorry I know there have been posts about similar warning messages in the past but none of the advice that I have read has worked. What is really getting me is that I had an osCommerce shop on one of the domains working perfectly but I deleted it as I wanted to change it completely (really wish I had just learnt how to edit it now!) So why is it not working now? Is it something to do with the osCommerce release that I am using? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at... Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent... Should go away when the initial error message no longer appears.
