jon_l Posted February 23, 2003 Share Posted February 23, 2003 If you are referring to getting a merchant account with one of the big banks, then your best bet is to ring them. They should be able to give you quotes, once you've provided them with some basic info. Its not as straight forward as them just giving you a rate. They take in to account things like the turnover, what you sell, charge back risk, UK vs non-UK customers etc. If you are a member of, or if you join, one of the business associations (such as the FSB) you can get discounted rates, which can be worth the membership fee on their own.
