thisisbolo Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I'm trying to get the product listing to show on the product_info.php page. It should show products from the same manufacturer as the selected item on the product_info.php page and should look like the listing contributions by Sam a.k.a. Spooks (on the forum) http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6051 - AWESOME CONTRIBUTION! I got it work somewhat, I think I cheated it...so when you click on a product from the listing, it shows exactly what I am trying to achieve...however...theres issues: how i achieved this? i copied the code from the index.php and pasted it into the product_info.php underneath the "customers who also purchased"... issue 1: when you click on a product from the "what's new" section or when you click on the column infobox what's new product, it doesnt show the product listing on the product_info.php page. issue 2: the results/pages drop down doesn't work, for some reason it takes you straight to the check out page... i searched and searched for a contribution related to this and couldnt find one...the similar products one doesn't help, its not set up like spooks product listing... any ideas? looking forward to finding a solution!

Contributions: Auto Backup your Database, Easy way Multi Images with Fancy Pop-ups, Easy way Products in columns with multi buy etc etc Disable any Category or Product, Easy way Secure & Improve your account pages et al.

I found your contribution for "Matching Product Categories", followed all the steps in the included instructions and it doesn't seem to work for me. I also went on the thread http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=305460 and can't seem to find a solution. "I forgot to mention, the box is only displayed if the product is listed in more than one category." - Spooks I tried copying a product to more than one category and still no luck. My categories are structured as: Category 1 - Product - Product - Product - Product - Product Category 2 - Product - Product - Product - Product - Product Is there a way to do this for manufacturers rather than categories?
