DANYEYI
hi there, i have paypal website payments standard installed but after you click confirm order and are taken to the paypal page under order description there is just my store name and not an itemized description of the products ordered. i have installed the contribution found here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6783 but it is not working correctly, the problem is that product descriptions are being combined into one item and only about 80 characters are being diplayed. has anybody had this problem? or is there a better contribution out there? thanks in advance, dan
web-project
you need to install PayPal IPN module, where you can enable the itemizing description (simply set the Transaction Type to Per Item) Quote Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. DANYEYI
you need to install PayPal IPN module, where you can enable the itemizing description (simply set the Transaction Type to Per Item) hi there, i have just installed the paypal ipn addon version 2.3.4.7 (4th march 09) it works and i can recieve payments but the order status is not updating from pending to processing (the final completed stage) how can i fix this? i have no idea whats causing the problem. when i look at the IPN history in my paypal account and then message id i get retrying errors and the Notification URL is showing up as :https://www.mysite.co.uk/ipn.php?language=english i thought the ipn.php was supposed to be loacted in the ext/etc/etc? i also have a dedicated ssl on the site if that makes a difference? all the encrypted settings in the admin area of the addon have been left blank as im not sure how or if i need to fill them in. i have also just recieved an email saying: PayPal IPN Invalid Process $_POST: $_GET: thanks again dan Edited January 20, 2010 by DANYEYI
web-project
Notification URL is showing up as :https://www.mysite.co.uk/ipn.php?language=english incorrect as should be: https://www.mysite.co.uk/ext/modules/payment/paypal_ipn/ipn.php don't forget to put the php.ini file into /ext/modules/payment/paypal_ipn/ folder, if you are using in the root folder of oscommerce.
