Guest Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Hi All has anyone got the "HSBC e-Secure v3.1" contribution working with osc. I have just tried stalling the "HSBC e-Secure v3.1" contribution. All looks very good and it was very easy to follow the install. However when i do a test purchase and press the confirm button I can and return that says "Hacking Attempt!" I have been onto the hsbc bank and checked the hash code, They say that the "order hash" is not being sent ?? I'am not to sure what this means?? any suggestions anyone... Many Thanks Tony Quote

Many Thanks Tony I have exactly the same problem but I am using 2.2. Check the source code of the page before you click out to HSBC for the <input type="hidden" name="OrderHash" value="error while loading shared libraries"> tag. As you can see mine has the error "error while loading shared libraries", as there is no hash being sent HSBC returns as a "hacking error". Your problem might be different though, do you have your SSL setup and working? Quote

Gaz Jones Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Can anyone help both of us with this issue? I have the hacking attempt message now despite the hash being generated and everything looking correct. SSL is up and working etc. The site is still in test mode, might that cause the problems as I am putting it through the https://cpi.hsbc blah blah servlet page? Thanks Gaz Quote

JimboG76 Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 One thing I found when speaking to HSBC is that the client ID needs extra initial, ie, if your merchant id is 12345678, you have to add UK12345678GBP and use this value in the admin for Client ID or Alias. Hope you got it fixed. Quote
