I have a CRE Loaded OsCommerce template, that i purchased from a web designer that was buiolding me an online store.. He originally tried to pass off the template as his own design, untill someone i know pointed out to me that it was a template (again my ignorance shown). LOng story short, the site is near ready, the data base and all ther XML feeds from my distributors arer all working and ready to go.. What i wanted to as is, How Easy/Hard is it to chose a different template for example this one...http://www.templatemonster.com/oscommerce-templates/26090.html and get all the databases/Xml scripts etc from my site now and move it to a "New" site template..... burt Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 If I recall correctly, CRE loaded uses a hybrid BTS template system. I'm sure that the templates that are available from TM do not use that same template system, hence they are incompatible. HOwever, it would not be too much effort to take the features of the template that you like and merge them into your existing BTS setup, I'd have thought.
