Extracting email addresses of registered users

Hey can anyone tell me how to xtract the email addresses of the regustered members on my website? Since i need to send newsletters to members regarding new offers etc i find the built in Non-html email newsletter rather ineffective. Is there any way that i can extract the email addresses of my members in an excel file or something? Pls be assured that those email addresses won't be used for spamming etc and would be used (upon permission) to send newsletters to the registered users on my website.
