prjames111 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 IAm writing this post as i want to install the addon html_wysiwygEditor_v1.6.6 but already have easypopulate addon already installed into the admin area of my site. I just wanted to know if i tried to install this addon (html_wysiwygEditor_v1.6.6), will it totally mess up my site/admin area. Peter
Ken44 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Hi Peter You can install as many addons as you wish. You just need to make sure that code changes from one contribution do not get overwritten with code changes in another contribution. When a conflict occurs you can usually find a work around in the support threads. It is best to comment your changes in the code so that you know what you have changed and for which contribution and ALLWAY MAKE A BACKUP of your site before installing any contribution. Then you can always go back to a working version if you have any problems. html_wysiwygEditor_v1.6.6 and easypopulate will not conflict. So you should have no problems with these. Regards Ken
