schlador Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 I'm trying to install osCommerce on a Windows Vista machine running Apache2.2, PHP5, & MySQL Server 5.1. I have verified that all three components are working together with a PHP script. I can connect to a test database and retrieve and display data in my browser. When I start the osCommerce install after providing the Database Server (my computer name), username (root), password, & database name (commerce_db), the install is stuck on "Testing daatase connection...".
