It will let you add a product to the shopping cart from the product listing, but NOT from the product info. Also, when you try to update the quantity of products in cart, it will always return it to the quantity of 1. Other people have had this problem, but nobody gives them an answer. THIS IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!! PLEASE HELP!! IM BEGGING YOU!!

THIS IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!! PLEASE HELP!! IM BEGGING YOU!! Well, I never got any help from this forum, but found the solution myself finally. After months of losing customers, and reinstalling in numerous configurations, etc, etc, I discovered it was all caused by the .htaccess file. I had changed it according to instructions found here for security reasons, and didn't realize that their rewrites didn't work. I'm not sure which one caused it, and tried to figure that out, but gave up and just removed all that security. It's sad I can't have the security, but at least the website works now. If anyone else ever gets it working with the security still in place, let me know PLEASE. To anyone else, who is having this problem, have a look at your .htaccess file for the solution. Hope this helps someone.
