Help Please! Linking Manufact. to Banners in a Template I purchased.

Is there anyone that is familiar with working with OS commerce templates that can help me manipulate an OS commerce template that i purchased from the store? There are banners on the side of the template and currently they link to product categories, but since they are the logos of manufacturers, I want them to link to manufacturer categories. For example, If I have these product categories: TVs, Audio, Cameras and in each category I have a Sony item, I would like that the "SONY" banner on the side pulls up all Sony Items (no matter what categories they go to).

There are instructions on how to link banners to categories, but is there a way to link them to manufacturers? Could anyone help?

Because you purchased a template it would be hard to guess how this is coded (or where) without seeing the files. I would suggest one of two things:

1) Contact the template creator for support. (you don't always get a response, but if you do you have a better chance of accomplishing your goals)

2) Post the code from the relevant files so we can see how it is coded. SOMEONE might then be able to help.

Hi,

Thank you for the advice. I contacted the store support and all they did was give me a link to the OS commerce directions (http://info.template-help.com/after_sale_support/Working_with_osc/article13.html)...its not really helping me much. Here is a copy of the code (for the index page) below. is there a way to make these banners link to "manufacturers?" If not, is there a way to have these banners not link to anything?
