snowrabbit Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I had successfuly moved my store under a new domain. I did a goole search, why it still the old domain info showed? (I used the same store name but diff domain, I changed the old store to another store name after the new one created) How long would take goole to update info?

♥mdtaylorlrim Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 when I add my site in webmster tools, it says "not verified" and let me add a <meta name=""" /> to <head> do we need and how to do it? A little late to do it now. You would have had to verify your old site first. Move your site. Change your address, and verify the new site. and let me add a <meta name=""" /> to <head> This is the method that Google uses to know with certainty that it is you that owns the site. Just add the meta tag into your index.php file, or if your shop is in a sub-directory into your index file in the root directory, and Google will verify your site. At least you will be set for the future. Community Bootstrap Edition, Edge Avoid the most asked question. See How to Secure My Site and How do I...?

Don't quote me on this, but I *think* those (except for cached) only affect how you see the results. Not how everyone sees them. Maybe someone else will verify that. snowrabbit Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 not only my site, but also on some of the other searches. there are usually "Cached, Comment, Promote, Remove" beside the result web. "Cached" is a link, the other 3 are icons.
