jhande
I have been getting grief from one of my customers that came from eBay (she purchased from me at eBay). She was complaining that PayPal would not except her address (humm she already has a PayPal account) and another time she said she only seen a message - "Return to Merchant". I was never able to fully complete a transaction as PayPal always flashed me a message that I could not buy from or pay myself. I was finally able too and all seemed to go fine and smooth. Me as customer received an email from PayPal that the transaction was completed. Me as store owner received the same. Customer me was returned to checkout success page. As a customer I see in my view order history the order but with a status - "Preparing [PayPal IPN]". I also see that in the admin panel. I checked my PayPal account and I received the funds. I thought after a successful transaction it was supposed to return the message - "Your order will be Proccessed". I'm using PayPal IPN version 2.3.3 In admin I have IPN setup as: Set Preparing Order Status: Preparing [PayPal IPN] Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status: Pending Set PayPal Completed Order Status: Your order will be Proccessed Did it function properly and display the correct message? It seems kind of strange that I have to change the status in the admin panel myself. I don't remember having to do that, but my memory is shot so who knows. - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
Xpajun
I only have 2 settings on mine Jim: Set Preparing Order Status Preparing [PayPal Standard] Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status default although I do get 3 updates in my orders the last two are the default (pending in my case) not sure if this helps you though  My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
jhande
Thanks Julian, For some reason I am only receiving one email notification. I thought I would receive a message that the transaction was completed (money in my PayPal account). All I receive is what's set to this one - Set Preparing Order Status: I then have to go into the admin panel to the correct order and update the status myself (and notify customer). Is that the normal proceedure? If so maybe I should change the default notification message to "Your order will be Processed"? - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
Xpajun
When an order goes through to PayPal I get: Set Preparing Order Status Preparing [PayPal Standard] Once the transaction is completed then it changes to: Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status default | PayPal IPN Verified [Completed (Unverified; £amount paid)] Followed by: Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status default (customer notified) I get no payment emails from PayPal whatsoever  (even with my eBay sales) You may be able to get a clue as to what was happening by going back through your sales As they would not be updated should you (or PayPal) have changed something at some time My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
