Hello all

Im looking for some modification so i'll be able to modify my attributes.

right now i can add mdifferent colours and sizes to my produsct..what i would like to be able to do is:

for example.

i have all range of colours and would like to charge 0.50 extra if buyer choose gold or silver for smallest size

for medium 1 dolar and for xl 2 dolars.

ad so on

how can i do that?

and is it possible to set same attribute sets for 10-20 products?

so i won't have to add one by one attribute each time.

yes you can add atribute groups so you can just select a group for a particular product and all the attributes are available.

 

as for the pricing of attributes, not sure exactly what it is you want to do.

 

what are your colours available sizes avaiable and price options.

 

As you can add prices for your attributes its possible to have small extr .5 and large an extr 1 etc, but if you want gold large extra 1.0 then silver large extra .75 then I dont think its so straight forward.

that i knew but i i would like to be able with one click add all colours to all my products.

so when i add some product i click somewhere one specified group of attributes and it will add all colour attributes black white, red, pink, gold +1.0, silver +1.0 and so on

and other group with sizes: click on something like size gropu and it'll add to the listing all sizes I create in that group.:

10 x 10 ,

20 x 20 +0.20,

25 x 25 +0.25,

...

..

..

if yes where can i find it in my menu?

There is an attributes manager contribution where you can create a set of options, and then you load the options template on each product. You can create your size and colours save them as coloursize, then eaxch product you go into recall that list of options using the colourise attribute template.

 

 

If you want to be able to combine colours and sizes to get your price.

 

As it stands you would have to have the size options and the prices for each size option and the price for each colour option.

 

so your standard prooduct would be $5

your silver would be + $1

your silver would be + $1

your size would be + $0.5

 

I would install teh attribute manager and easypopulate 2.76h then updating these wouldnt be so hard.

 

However to add these manualy you would visit your product attributes section, create Size and creat colour then enter the different sizes availabkle etc and then select them for each product, becomes very long winded if you have lots of data to enter.

 

easypopulate with product attributes makes it easier to upload your attributes to your store but initially it can be cionfusing do to all the rows of data you have.

 

the attrinutes manager is the easiest way of creating a list of attributes for a product and you can see them against the product as your working pretty much.

 

But it will require you to install a module.
