Table /Td not staying to top... Please Help

Hi All.

If someone can help here it would be really appreciated. I have almost finished with my os shop but something is bugging me. My tables in the left main column are floating in the middle if they have no content ie. here on my login page you can see WELCOME PLEASE SIGN IN is in the middle. I know that this is a basic html problem but ive tried for hours to find it with no luck. When i have content on the main i.e main index its not a problem as it pushes to the top. I have checked where i thought it would be catalog/index.php but i can clearly see valign "top" in there...

 

Maybe im being dumb but hey if you cant find it i need to ask.

My guess you are missing a valign="top" around 98 or 104. There should be two about 6 lines apart in that area.

You should probably have 8 of those tags. Count and see how many you have in login.php

Im sure its not just login, its every page i have thats why i think its the main index. Heres the shopping cart exactly the same shopping cart

I didn't notice it earlier.. only saw it in the login. Ok, look in your index.php and see where the header stops and the main starts. See if there is an extra required file between them added by the template you are using. You're looking for the file that returns the static banner for the deals of the week. Then the next thing is going to be the offending mis aligned table.
