Guest Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 This is a new install of osCommerce 2.2 RC2A, with "Super Download Shop" and "Order Entry" installed. I just installed "PayPal Website Payment Pro & Express" Module Version 2.0 (build 177) which was released on 23rd December 2009. When I go through a live transaction and hit the final confirm purchase button, three separate transactions are generated. I ran the transactions with Paypal technical support monitoring and they saw three transactions happen within 6 seconds. I set all the parameters as suggested in the individual installs. Does anyone know what would cause the three transactions, or where a loop could be? David

David I would check the code of the install you have just done, I am guessing that as this module is to replace an existing one that some code from a similar module maybe the cause, but I wouldnt know for sure. I have this module installed and the live transaction generated just one order, but I did remove code that was in place for a similar module that was in the files. I have not used the 3d secure option as yet have you? Getting better with mods but no programmer am I.

Wish there was an easier way to install & Uninstall addons so they don't step on each other.
Guest Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I will do a clean install of osCommerce and paypal payments pro today. Wish there was an easier way to install & Uninstall addons so they don't step on each other. I did originally have another paypal module active, I thought all I had to do to stop it was disable it ( I did not make any code changes, that I can remember, when I installed it).
Guest Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Loaded a clean version of osCommerce and "Paypal Payments Pro and Express checkout modules for os Commerce 2.2 RC2a" Module Version 2.0 (build 177) Released 23rd December 2009. Configured a new product for download and ran a credit card through (live) one transaction posted in sales BUT THREE PAYMENTS WENT THROUGH PAYPAL all for the same amount and all within 3 seconds of each other. I did not hit the confirm button three times. This looks like a serious bug. I will post it into the bugs section.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is the recurring payment part of the module, but I just dont know. Getting better with mods but no programmer am I.
