I have developed several OScommerce stores and have always wondered what subscribing to product updates does. I decided it is finally time to ask. I have tried subscribing to a product for updates and changed the price and description expecting to get an automated email but this does not happen. knifeman Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 It is not an automatic feature. If you go into the newsletter portion of admin, you can choose a new newsletter. Then there is a dropdown to choose product notification. Once the message is created and you continue, there will be a choice of which product or products you are notifying. Customers who subscribed to those products will receive the e-mail. Tim I searched the forum on this but can't find the answer.
