Guest Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'm considering switch my cart software to OSCommerce because it supports some features of PayPal that my current cart does not support. Can anyone tell me if there is an example of OSCommerce that after payment is received, sends an Email to the customer instructing them on where and how to download the software? I also allow telephone and Fax purchases so I need to activate the Email from an external source. Thanks

It will also send out an email to the customer with the link to download the files. I would recommend the Super Download Shop contribution, which contains a modified download controller that allows you to configure downloads better. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4868 You can also install the Manual Order Maker contribution: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4829 Which allows you to create an order in the admin for them after receive fax and email orders.
