emirv Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 Hello, A couple of days ago I added a handful of products to my shop via Easy Populate. I forgot to add a category to some of the products. However, they still appear on my shops front page, but are not under any category (obviously due to me forgetting to put them under one). My problem is I cannot find these products within the administration options to edit or remove them. When I click on one of these products off the front page I do not get any errors, I get taken to the products page and it shows it as appearing simply under "Catalog" EG: Top » Catalog » BR2014 » Angle Bracket as opposed to showing under a category such as Top » Catalog » Brackets » BR304 » Pelmet Bracket & Saddle. My questions is, how do I remove these products when I can't physically find them. Even when I create and download the easy populate complete product file they are not showing on there either. Enter a part of the description and it should find the product and allow you to edit it or delete it. No need to delete it though, simply move it to the correct category. dub2dub Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Try http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5962 I too have the same problem with 3 products, I have tried the addon suggested and also the search method but I cannot find these 3 phantom products to delete them. ♥mdtaylorlrim Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 If you have access to a phpMyAdmin you can locate the product and assign a valid categoy_id in the products_to_categories table. That should put it into a valid category. The method I use to clear the products is to use phpMyAdmin and delete all products, all products_description, and all products_to_categories.
