jasonaud
I have been working on this for 2 days. I am trying to put togather a package with osCommerce 2.2MS1 with the following mods: Credit Class & Gift Voucher, Discount Coupons, Free Shipping w/ Minimum Amount, Printable Catalog, Members Discount, and Change Members Discount in Admin. i can get it to work with some of the mods but can not get them all to work. I need them all to work for the store i am setting up. If anyone can help me out or has any information as to why they all wont work togather please help me. The main mods i have to have working are Credit Class & Gift Voucher, Discount Coupons, Free Shipping w/ Minimum Amount, Printable Catalog. Thank you all for looking and helping if possible. toolcrazy
First go get Ian's Loaded v5 and then 3/4 of your work is done. Then all you have to add is Printable Catalog, Members Discount, and Change Members Discount in Admin Credit Class & Gift Voucher, Discount Coupons, Free Shipping w/ Minimum Amount. Is already installed. And all the latest versions with minor tweaks. http://www.phesis.co.uk/ Steve -------------------------

Ajeh
You might want to look at the new version of the Downloads Controller v5.3 This has the new Free Shipping and Free Payment modules that work will allow the shipping and payments to function with them on or off. This means, the original MS1 shipping and payment modules should be used rather than the modified ones for the old Free Shipping and Payment modules. NOTE: I am not sure if Ian has a few additional features to those shipping and payment modules so be careful in updating them. My original changes were just the IF statement around the enable at the top of each module. This is no longer used. The control for the shipping and payment modules is handled in the /includes/classes/shipping.php and payment.php with very minor changes to a couple checkout files. The Downloads Controller is based on the orders_status. This can prevent people from obtaining immediate downloads based on Payment method ... ie cod or check/money order You configure this in the Admin. jasonaud
The only thing i need with this one is when a order is over a certain amount that the shipping is free. That is all i need this mod for. Is there a different one i need to look at then the one that is with the v5 loaded?
Ajeh
The defined Free Shipping for orders over $X and the Free Shipping and Payment modules are not related. The problem is the old Free Shipping and Payment modules had to be active to let shipping and payment work. But, the code for them is a bit old. The new ones now are current and work with the other modules and do not break things when they are turned off, if you do not want them. They also do not require any editing of the regular shipping and payment modules. You will see an IF statement at the top of the files around the enable for free_shipper and free_charger or something similar ... :D
